However beautiful and spacious the villas are, you also want to get out and enjoy the beautiful nature, many facilities, cultural surroundings and various fun trips in the immediate vicinity of Landgoed Bergvliet. Bergvliet Villa's is ideally situated! Away from the highway, in the middle of the typical nature of Brabant with its vast forests, moors and sand drifts. At the front door of your Bergvliet Villa is an area where you can enjoy walking, mountain biking, cycling and horse riding, on the page facilities you can read all about it. If you leave the park, you will find in the immediate vicinity of the park a variety of wonderful excursions. The cozy Breda, best inner city of the Netherlands 2018 and 2019. Visit National Park the Biesbosch, Safari Park de Beekse Bergen and for the kids the Efteling. All located within a half hour drive.

Subsequently, you can also find national parks, such as Nationaal Park de Biesbosch, at a stone’s throw distance.     Whether you’re looking for a fast bite, a nice drink with snacks, an intimate dinner, or an extensive barbecue, everything is possible at Landgoed Bergvliet. In both our charming restaurant De Proeverij and grand café De Schenkerij, we will gladly welcome you with a healthy dose of Brabant hospitality. We welcome everyone with open arms! 

    But the direct surroundings also boast a wide array of excellent food and shopping locations.

  • Being active

    Are you someone who can’t sit still during your holiday? We can relate! Golfing is in our blood. Yet, also we indulge in mountain biking, cycling, or hiking in the surrounding forests. You can even go horse riding, skating, and swimming! All of these great activities are in close proximity to your Bergvliet Villa. 

    • To play golf, a certificate of proficiency (GVB) is required. 
    • You can go swimming in the pools of Oosterhout, Terheijden, and Breda. 
    • Tennis can be played in Oosterhout 
    • Petting zoos can be found in Oosterhout, Breda, and Bavel. 
    • The reception can help you with bike rental, cycling routes, and other information. 

  • Walking

    Naturally, we would suggest hitting a few balls on our 18-hole golf course, but there is a lot more to peak your interest at Bergvliet! As it lies in the middle of the Oosterhout forests, it’s a Walhalla for hikers and bikers. You don’t even necessarily have to leave the park for a good walk!  

    Outside of the park, you can walk in every direction. For example, you can walk around the Put of Charon, or take a forest route to one of the nice terraces in Oosterhout. You can also check out Breda! The inner city of Breda was voted as the best in 2018 and 2019.
